Education and Experience
Ryan Ivanov was born in 2007. He is a classical guitar performer from Arlington Heights, Illinois. Ryan started playing the guitar in 2017. He is currently studying with Zhivko Nikolov, his teacher from the 6VibeZ Music in Mt. Prospect, Illinois, and started competing in 2022.
Since then, he has won 7 prizes in various competitions such as Chicago Guitar Festival, The Latino Arts Guitar Festival, and the Redi Marku International Competition. engineering.
He has had masterclasses with famous guitarists such as An Tran, Domenico Motolla, Denis Azabagic, Kevin Loh, Thomas Viloteau and Alberto Quintanilla, using their teachings to become a coveted performer.
At the moment, he has committed to Northwestern University, and he will be pursuing a dual degree in the Bienen School of Music for classical guitar performance, and the McCormick School of Engineering for civil engineering.
