Education and Experience

Throughout her career, Ksenia has had the privilege of working with renowned musicians such as Temirkanov, Matsuev, Dutoit, and Netrebko. She has performed as a substitute harpist at the St. Petersburg Philharmonic and served as the principal harpist for various prestigious ensembles, including the St. Petersburg Youth Orchestra, Taurida Orchestra, Children’s Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Symphony Orchestra of the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory.

Ksenia was born in a small town in Belarus and began playing the piano at the age of 4. At 13, she took up the harp, and by 16, she won an international competition in St. Petersburg, Russia. Shortly thereafter, she was accepted into college, studying under Professor Andres Izmailov (2012). In 2015, she continued her studies at the Saint-Petersburg Conservatory, joining the studio of Honored Artist of Russia, Anna Makarova.

Three years ago, Ksenia won a scholarship to Roosevelt University, where she relocated to Chicago to pursue a Master of Music degree at the Chicago College of Performing Arts (2021). Under the guidance of Lynn Williams, the principal harpist of the Lyric Opera of Chicago, she has since performed with several prominent orchestras and ensembles, including the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, Joffrey Ballet, and the Opera of Chicago.
